DD was born six months ago today, and I cannot believe it. It really is true how quickly time flies. What makes me sad is realizing that the next six months will pass by at least as quickly (time really is relative). So, how is DD doing? Her cardiologist said she still has a Still’s Murmur, but that is nothing to worry about, and her pediatrician said she is perfect, but we knew that already :P She is active, healthy, and intelligent. BFing is going well, she enjoys solid foods (though I only feed them to her once a day partly due to the superiority of my milk, and partly due to pure laziness). She prefers to sit up, or even be on her stomach/all fours, but she has to be propped most of the time, despite her best efforts. I’m in no rush for her to start crawling, and she moves just fine by rolling around, scooting backwards, or inching her way forwards. She’s had budding teeth for a while, but again, as a nursing mom, I’m in no big rush for those, especially since that means more work after nursing. Anyway, below you can see her growth so far (she is petit – her feet are only 3 inches, – but easy to carry around) and most of her developmental milestones in the actual month, not age, at which they occurred, and of course a picture. As I said, she doesn’t like being on her back much anymore (changing diapers is a b--), so this was the best I could do.
