Many people think I'm strange for not wanting to know the gender of my healthy baby, especially since DH and the grandparents all know, but after reading about how other people reacted to the news ("Oh, I was hoping for a _____"), I'm glad I wasn't there when my family found out. I know what some of them would love to have, though ultimately they are happy just to have a healthy baby. But, if they were disappointed on the gender I didn't get to hear about it, see it in their expressions, and they'll be over it by the time bambino is born. I'm just hoping I'm not disappointed in the gender :p
